BALLOON FESTIVAL
incorporating WINGS, WHEELS & STEAM
Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th August – 6am – 6pm
The skies over the famous WWII airbase that is “Headcorn Aerodrome” will be full over the weekend as an armada of 50 balloons lift off in a blaze of colour to dazzle the gathered crowd.
During the day, vintage aircraft including the Imperial War Museum’s Hurricane and the famous Spitfire will visit the Weald of Kent, flying low over the airfield as their Merlin engines echo around the arena. Their flying time from Duxford - 18 minutes.
Back on the ground, a fleet of classic Bentleys, Jaguars and MGs weave their way across the Kent and Sussex countryside. Their arrival will be heralded with a chorus of whistles from the already on-site, traction engines.
There’s something for all the family!
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL TICKETS ORDERED FROM TUESDAY 19TH AUGUST ONWARDS WILL NOT BE SENT BY POST - YOU WILL NEED TO COLLECT THE TICKETS FROM HEADCORN AERODROME DURING OFFICE HOURS OR ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT ITSELF.
